Experience /Qualifications

I have over 30 years’ experience in civil engineering in South Africa and abroad, working across both the public and private sectors. My early career included several years in the South African roads sector, followed by a period working in the United Kingdom, before I returned to South Africa and specialised in water engineering.

My experience covers the full project life cycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction support and close-out for water treatment works, bulk supply and reticulation systems, as well as general civil infrastructure.

For 18 years I served as a Director at MSW Consulting Engineers, where I was involved in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and developed strong professional relationships that I continue to value.

My professional strengths include client liaison, tendering and procurement support, project and contract management, planning, and high-level civil and water engineering design.

I hold two Bachelor of Technology degrees in Civil Engineering and am registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr. Tech Eng), registration number 200670174. I am a member of SAICE and a Fellow of the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA).
